I've moved accounts. I just... couldn't deal with all the oldness of this one. I hate having to start over, but it's also very exciting. I've been reposting some of my favorite stuff, but I hope to put up lots of new art. <3 I look forward to seeing you all again here:

I've been pretty sick lately. It looks like I've developed some kind of lactose intolerance. It's good to know this before going to Idaho, because I think it'll be easier to change my eating habits while I'm having to change everything else at the same time. I look forward with real anticipation to preparing very tasty meals. The more cookbooks I horde the more I become motivated to cook. If only it were so easy to be motivated to draw.

That's not entirely true. I really want to draw, but I'm so busy all of a sudden that I have time for little more than sketches. So, I apologize for not putting anything up. >.>

Today I made my best fried tuna to date. For so long my family has only sniffed at it, but very soon I will have perfected it to a delicacy. X3

Ingredients (pending):
tuna
lime juice
garlic pepper
whole, dry rosemary

P.S. If my house smelled like rosemary all the time, then I would be a happy.

I hate that moment when you realize that everything you've spent your whole life drawing really isn't art. Not because I draw "anime" or with just a pencil (more ink recently), but because they have always lacked the sophistication of line, color, texture, shape, form, space, value, rhythm, movement, balance, emphasis, unity, contrast. It's frustrating I tell you.

Sometimes I'm really selfish and just want to call my drawings of OC art, but I've spent the last several months coming to terms with my definition of art and the fact that what I've been doing all my life seriously falls short of that definition. I guess I have some work to do.

Was this really a Pep Talk?
